Employee Assistance Programme
Spectrum.Life is a mental health, wellbeing and digital health innovator. It provides Employee Assistance Programmes to over 4 million employees with a network of 2,350+ experienced, accredited counsellors and psychotherapists across UK and Ireland.
Our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is a free, on-demand day-to-day wellbeing and counselling service, that provides in the moment support to employees and their immediate family*, 24/7.
Our EAP which is provided with all our group protection products can provide in the moment practical information and advice around finance, legal, career coaching, relationship mediation and more.
Employees can also receive quality advice whenever they need it, through on-demand access to fully accredited and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists. Support is delivered in the format the employee feels comfortable with.
Through our app and portal there is a digital gym, fitness and nutrition plans with hundreds of recipes, weekly podcasts, our monthly wellbeing webinar series, mental health e-learning, shopping discounts and much more.
With our EAP, employees can manage their day-to-day wellbeing and have confidence knowing that we’re here, should they ever need us.
*Immediate Family include: spouse, partner, registered civil partner and children aged 16 to 24 in full-time education, living in the same household.
Mental health support
Multi-award-winning psychological assessment and treatment provider with over 3,000 clinicians and a reputation for clinical expertise and innovative digital healthcare.
Our partnership with Onebright means that employees can be referred quickly, with contact made within 48 hours and treatment starting within 10 working days at no cost to the employer or the employee. This helps employees avoid lengthy NHS waiting lists and get the treatment they need sooner.
Employees can be referred to the support that Onebright provide once we are told about their claim and they are covered by our Group Income Protection policy.
As part of the ongoing support provided by Onebright, they also provide 24/7 access to an online 12 month relapse prevention programme, following our return to work intervention. This includes information, modules and resources to help employees stay well. The aim is to maintain recovery to prevent further absence, help monitor their wellbeing, and take action when needed.
Next generation cancer support
Employees covered by our Group Income Protection, have access to a virtual cancer rehabilitation clinic, with the UK's largest multidisciplinary team of cancer experts, provided by Perci Health. The service is available to employees following an assessment with one of our Legal & General Vocational Clinical Specialists. If it’s deemed clinically appropriate, and there is a likelihood that they will return to work, our specialists will then refer them to Perci Health. They provide online, personalised, evidence-based care designed to achieve optimal health outcomes for people living with and beyond cancer.
Musculoskeletal support
An award-winning provider of occupational physiotherapy, with a national network of 760 physiotherapy clinics and over 2,500 physiotherapists.
PhysioMed provide access to high-quality, quick, effective treatment, designed to reduce lost productivity by supporting a quicker return to work.
Employees can be referred to the support that PhysioMed provide once we are told about their claim and they are covered by our Group Income Protection policy.
Return to work assessments
Leading Rehab employ a highly experienced team of health professionals with the expertise to assess and recommend back to work solutions for employees with musculoskeletal and visual disorders.
Their clinical team work with us, employers and our other healthcare partners to provide practical adjustments to the workplace that can help employees feel confident and comfortable on their return to work.
Employees can be referred to the support that Leading Rehab provide once we are told about their claim and they are covered by our Group Income Protection policy.
Second medical opinion, nurse support services and medical concierge
Established in 2013, Medigo’s sole aim is improving access and information to healthcare around the globe. They’re now a leading international healthcare services provider.
It provides access to practical, emotional and medical support for the employee we’re covering and their immediate family*, from reassurance about an illness, to guidance with arranging medical treatment. We’ve partnered with Medigo to offer second medical opinion, medical concierge and nurse support services.
Available as standard with our Group Critical Illness Cover and Group Income Protection.
*Immediate family includes spouse, partner, registered civil partner and children from birth to age 24 in full time education and who are living in the same household.
